“Every day some of our most loyal friends find themselves
alone, frightened and sleeping on a concrete floor behind bars.
Please, rescue a homeless friend.”
The question is not, 'Can they reason?' nor 'Can they talk?' but rather, 'Can they Suffer?'
-Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832) |

Terry
Kammel-McTeague was recently commissioned to paint two dog portraits for a young man who is serving in the U.S. Navy. "Scott has been a life-long dog lover who did what was best for his wo cherished K-9 friends. When he discovered that he was being shipped out for unknown periods of time; he found them each a permanent & loving home, which must have been extremely difficult. I had the pleasure of painting his two dogs, Teikk and Quinn, and the two pieces were presented to Scott as surprise gifts in December 2006."
